Pascale Vantorre is the Management Assistant at UNU-CRIS in Bruges. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Director's office.
Besides managing the Director's office, she is taking care of the internal and external communication and is the first contact person at UNU-CRIS. She coordinates the organization of workshops, seminars and conferences with the (communication) interns throughout the year.
Research fellows, (visiting) researchers, interns and trainees are welcomed by Pascale Vantorre upon their arrival. She also supervises trainee management assistants.
Pascale started working for the University of Ghent on 1 January 2017. Prior to that, since the foundation of UNU-CRIS in March 2000, she was seconded from the College of Europe to UNU-CRIS until the end of December 2016. Before that, she was a Management Assistant in the Economics Department of the College of Europe as of January 1992.
She obtained a Bachelor Degree in Office Management at HOWEST in Bruges.
Since 2007 she is a guest lecturer in internal/external communication at the Office Management programme at HOWEST in Bruges and participates at several HOWEST board meetings throughout the year.
